Even the tiniest of stories count!

I have been published!

No, not my book, though I am still banging away at it.

A lovely press called Vine Leaves Press has a section they email daily called 50 Give or Take.

Your job as a writer is to come up with a story that is 50 words, give or take. And that's exactly what I did a year ago.

Yes. A year ago.

Sometimes it takes just that long or longer to get anything published.

The story will not shoot me into stardom but what it will do is begin the building of my publishing career. It all counts, even the tiny ones.

I hope this may encourage you, my fellow writers.

Keep it up! It feels great to see my words out in the world, even if there are only 50 of them.
